What it is
Prenota Facile is the official Polizia di Stato portal (prenotafacile.poliziadistato.it) for booking Questura appointments for residence permit procedures that aren't filed with the postal kit, such as many family permits.
Where it works
It isn't active in every Questura. In recent months it was rolled out in Palermo, Teramo, Siena and Bari, among others. Where it's active, you can only enter with a booking for the day and time on your receipt.
How to use it
- Go to the portal and register, with or without SPID.
- Choose your Questura and procedure.
- Book a day and time and keep the receipt.
- Bring all original documents and copies.
If your Questura doesn't use it yet, check its official page: each office publishes its own rules.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work for renewals filed with the postal kit?
No. Postal-kit procedures are filed at the post office, which then gives you the fingerprint appointment.
